Mo Willems, Knuffle Bunny Too

Page history last edited by Lisa Gordis 15 years, 9 months ago

Bibliographical information:

Willens, Mo. Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity. New York: Hyperion Books, 2007.

Brief summary:

Trixie (who now talks very well) brings Knuffle Bunny to school, where she learns that Sonja has a Knuffle Bunny, too. She and Sonja argue over the proper pronunciation of Knuffle (Trixie says "Kuh-nuffle") and finally the teacher has to take away both bunnies, leading to a bunny mixup, a frantic late-night swap, and a new friendship.

Comments:

In this sequel, Trixie has aged along with her readers. Kids enjoy the debate over how to pronounce Knuffle (my older daughter wondered about this when she read Knuffle Bunny to her sister) as well as the subtle differences between the two bunnies.

Grade/Age level:

Ages 3-6

Cautions:

If you like this book, you might also like . . .
