Brief summary:

Charlie's sister Lola is very picky. When Charlie is asked to give Lola supper, he makes foods on her "I do not eat list" fun by calling carrots "orange twiglets from Jupiter" and peas "green drops from Greenland." Lola eats and enjoys all of the foods, and by the end of the meal has herself declared that what looks like a bowl of tomatoes in fact contains delicious "moonsquirters."

Comments:

The story and illustrations are fun, and kids seem to enjoy the book a lot. Also, the story suggests that Lola is not being tricked so much as entering into a game that makes food fun.

Grade/Age level:

The cover recommends it for ages 4-8, which seems about right.
